Rapé is a sacred powder used by Amazonian tribes to clarify the mind, calm thoughts, and ground the body in the present moment. Blown into the nostrils, it promotes energetic purification and prepares the body and mind to receive Kambo, opening the mind and aligning intentions.
Rapé is a fine powder made from wild tobacco (Nicotiana rustica), mixed with ashes from medicinal plants. It is blown into the nostrils using a tube called a “tepi” or “kuripe” by oneself or by a healer.
Effects ans uses of Rapé
Mental Clarity: Helps open consciousness and improves focus or meditation. Energetic Cleansing: Purifies the energetic field and dispels negative energies. Spiritual Alignment: Facilitates deeper meditation or connection with spiritual realms.
Physical Effects: Sensation of warmth, energy surge, tears, or pressure in the head. Occasionally, light nausea followed by a sense of purification.
